Words
Reality can sometimes be hectic, while it can be joyful at other times. It is up to the person living in it to decide. Here is a short poem about a harsh verbal reality.
Some words have the power to alter one's reality.
Others have the power to hurt or even manipulate.
Some can be heart-wrenching; others can be meaningful.
One cannot control their words, but one can indeed change the way one spoke.
They can indeed change the way they think as well
BECAUSE
Words often come from our thoughts
AND THEN
We speak them
It is as if water can put out fire
OR
cool air can take out something hot.
But once words are spoken, they cannot be taken back.
It is like sand slipping through one's fingers.
